Constructed from strong stainless steel, the Clifton IG8 Immersion Grid is designed to keep vacuum sealed food submerged in 8 litre unstirred water baths and sous vide machines. Even when vacuum packed perfectly, some items of food may float, meaning a variance in temperature in the bag - causing unsafe cooking conditions, especially when dealing with meat. This immersion grid ensures items are kept at a uniform temperature by holding the bags down.
